Patch 7 for BI 7.0 ADDON FOR SAP GUI 7.10

Hi All/SAP,

We have faced below issue after installing patch 7( bi710sp07_700-10004472.exe) for BI 7.0 ADDON FOR SAP GUI 7.10

In Query Designer, Execute button (Ctrl+R) is deactivated for the users who has only display and execute access to queries.

I.e. Auth Object S_RS_COMP with ACTVT - Display (03) and Execute (16)

Execute button (Ctrl+R) is activated for the users who has full access (*) in ACTVT Field.

If Query designer is in Patch 6 (bi710sp06p_602-10004472.exe) execute button is activated for the users who has only display and execute access to queries.

If any one faced the issue please let me know.

Issue is solved by BI addon 710 Support package 8 " bi710sp08_800-10004472.exe"

There is always a problem with frontend BI patches. Please raise a call with SAP and sought their help

we have experiences other fun issues with SAPgui patch 7.

We deployed Patch 9 a few weeks ago to our BW users and this fixed a lot of bugs

as of today patch 10 is availalbe

patch 11 will be released in Nov
