SCM5.0 Upgrade error in PREPARE IMPORT / CNV_CHK_IMP Phase

Hi,

we are upgrading from APO 3.1 to SCM 5.0 upgrade.

we are running PREPARE and getting this error during the PREPARE / Import Phase.

PE0353ERROR: Outstanding DB conversions found.

All converter entries are listed in /usr/sap/put/log/TBATGCHK.LOG.

Proceed as described in the upgrade manual and repeat this phase

until all converter entries are removed.

This is the entry in TBATGCHK.LOG file

Could anyone suggest on this.. Any help is welcome.

Thanks for this good blog. This has helped us during our upgrade to ECC6 where we were with the same issue.

this issue is resolved with solution from other thread.

The proble is not with table TBATG. The problem is with object ENQUESICNV. You can enter transaction code SE11 and activate the lock object "ESICNV" manually. After that you can repeat the Upgrade phase.

Thanks a lot! Even today with ERP 6.0 EHP7 systems it still helps during the SUM Update.

Only had to reactivate the lock object ESICNV and the update could be continued.
