Sorry if my English is not very, good.

I am following with the problem, to run the Minisap.

I have installed the following version: NetWeaver ABAP Trial Version 7.01.

I installed my PC at home the installation was successful, not made any mistake.

I can run the Start Application Server, the screen turns green without problems,

I can access the Database Manager also without problems, but to run the Log appears the following message of error and can not access the Minisap:

'Partner' matrix01: sapdp00 'not reached WSAECONNREFUSED: Conection refused. "

In the detailed description of the error:

Partner 'matrix01: sapdp00' not reached.

Matrix01 is the name of my computer.

I have all the requisites of software and hardware required for installation in the document.

My operating system is Windows XP.

I installed the MS Loopback Adapter and configuei as requested IP address and Subnet Mask

In the file C: \ Winnt \ system32 \ drivers \ etc \ hosts this:

10.10.0.10 matrix01.

In the file C: \ Winnt \ system32 \ drivers \ etc \ services this:

sql6 7210/tcp

sapdbni72 7269/tcp

sapmsNSP 3600/tcp

sapdp00 3200/tcp

sapgw00 3300/tcp

The same installation was performed on a machine (notbook) from a friend with windows Vista and it worked. With the same file.

What may be something to do with service of Java? Some problem with the Loopback?

Or with the services of the Minisap?

Thank you for your attention.

Hello Carlos,

Is your dispatcher running ? Check on the work directory (C:\usr\sap\<SID>\<instance name and number, typically DVEBMGS00>\work) the logs. You may upload them to a location where I can download them and check them for you.

I will be doing it out tonight because the NetWeaver, this installed in my house.

Do you have an entry for your hostname (matrix01) in your etc/host file ? It is located in c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts ?

Good morning.

Yes I set the hosts file with the matrix01 ip 10.10.0.10, as requested in the installation of the NetWeaver.

The file is in the correct directory,

c: \ windows \ system32 \ drivers \ etc \ hosts.

The same IP address defined in Loopback Adapter.

The loopback should be set to 127.0.0.1. You should not change it ever.

You only need to add a line for your hostname. Try the changes then restart the instance.

OK.

I will amend and do the tests, then I will put the result of the amendment

Thank you very much.

Good morning.

Sorry did not make a return before, but was a client.

I tried the solution in the last last post unfortunately did not work remains the error.

Back what it was before.

Oh I tried another way to login and another message appeared.

The next detail what I did.

1 - entered in SAP Management Console on the Action menu> all tasks> Start (log on the Windows user, entered my user and password)

The status of connection became yellow and then green

2 - Once you log in on top of the NSP instance, then right-click on top of the machine and went on to log on, the user typed bcuser and password minisap.

With this to log in directly without going through minisap sap logon.

Oh gave an error message, this:

"

SAP Logon failed:

SAP_CMINIT3: rc = 20> Connect to SAP gateway failed Connect_PM GWHOST = matrix01, GWSERV = sapw00, SYSNR = 00

LOCATION CPIC (TPC / IP) on local host with Unicode

ERROR connection to partner 'matrix01: 3300' broken

The error seems to be related to port 3300, in the service of this port this way:

sapgw00 3300/tcp.

It may be a mistake in sapgui?

I can give "ping" to the ip 10.10.0.10, but I could not give a telnet to this port (3300) with the ip 10.10.0.10.

My firewall is disabled, the Gateway, this blank as the model of the document calls for installation of SAP, shows when you install the loopback.
