Reports for Merchandising

Hi Gurus,

We are currently involved in doing Retail implementation project :

We trying to provide standard reports for Retail Based on Merchandising Category, Merchandising hierarchy1, hierarchy 2 to the client.

We have found the following Standard transaction.

MCGG - Retailing -> Standard Analyses -> Sales -> Customer/Merchandise Category

MCH: - Retailing -> Standard Analyses -> Sales -> STRPS

MCHG - Retailing -> Standard Analyses -> Purchasing -> Purchasing

On running this transaction in our development server, we are not getting any kind of reports. It says no data found. Though we have data available eg Purchase order, sales orders, .

Can you have a check if you can get any reports on these transactions? Then probably itu2019s a problem in our Development server.

Is any Specific configuration is required to do get this reports?

Plse check whether the Info Structure S123 Customer/Material Group is Activated in customization. If not plse update

Go to IMG - Logistic General - Logistics Information System - Logistics data Warehouse - Updating - Updating Control - Activate Update - Retail ( RIS ) - S123 - Updating

I have query regarding the PROMOTION activity in RETAIL u2013 we are using IS Retail without POS,

And we want to give PROMOTION based on TIME ( transaction code u2013 WAK1 ). Will it be possible u2013 through any customizing ?

We want to use BRAND to capture the REPORTS ?

We are utilizing MERCHANDISING CATEGORY which is not based on BRAND u2013 is there any OPTION to get the detail report BRAND WISE for SALE & PURCHASE.

I hope the timely promotions ( Happy hours ) is not possible in SAP IS Retail , but possible in POS with customizations..

I let you know about " Brand" .. Its better you raise a fresh thread for "Reporting on BRAND" sothat you will get more replies

Hi friends,

of course the LIS or better RIS is still available in Retail, but I recommend to use the SAP Standard solution for reporting issues like SAP BI for such things.

This is the future and provides more flexibility than the RIS or LIS.
