BBP_PD_PO_UPDATE not working

Former Member

Hi SRM Gurus,

I have to implement a functionality where in a new line item needs to be copied in the Purchase order. For this , I have coded in the BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI. The new item has been added after user clicks on a copy field in the PO line item.

But, the BBP_PD_PO_UPDATE function module is not behaving as desired. When I export the items in the ET_ITEM in the BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI ( method PO_CHANGE), the new line item does not get imported in the BBP_PD_PO_UPDATE .

Can you please help me on this problem ?

Thanks and Regards,

Anu

Assuming you are on SRM 50. (SRM server 5.50) and ECS:

Note 1096374 - Added items in BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI not transferred to ECS PO

Hi Robin,

Thanks for your update. I have already looked for this note. But we are using SRM 4.0 hence not able to apply this note.

Is there any other solution to this ?

Thanks and Regards,

Check the code corrections in the note. If the same can be applied to SRM 4.0 open an OSS message referring to that note and ask they downport it for 4.0. You could make the corrections yourself, but I think it's better to let SAP handle it.

Hi Robin,

The note cannot be implemented in SRM 4.0.

I will try to raise a OSS message for SAP. Is there any other possibilities on this if SAP replies in negative...

Thanks in advance.
