REQUIREMENT FOR ADOBE FORMS

We are having adobe live cycle designer 8.2 version

Sap gui 6.4

Acrobat reader 7

But we are unable to view the layout in the transaction SFP

the error i am getting is "ERROR WHILE GENERATING DOCUMENT"

IT WOULD BE VERY HELPFUL IF YOU COULD LET US KNOW WHY THIS IS HAPPENING AND WHAT IS THE REMEADY FOR THE SAME

I am glad to inform you that after the help from all of you. We are successful in getting the layout of the PDF forms. I would like to thank each one of you for the help you have rendered.

Hoping for further helps in future.

For further reference I am attaching the steps we have followed

1. Install Acrobat Reader 7. 0 or higher, Microsoft Word 2003 or higher version.

2. Install Adobe Live Cycle Designer 7.1

3. Double click sequentially on ConvertIP.exe, ConvertPdf.exe, ConvertWord.exe and finally click on FormDesigner.exe from C:\Program Files\Adobe\ Designer 7.1. Do not close the formdesinger application.

4. Logon to SAP and use ADLC

Hi Bonny,

You should have configured ADS ( Adobe Document Services) in your server to work on adobe forms, consult with your BASIS consultant he may do the needful.
