Wrong HRA Exemption

Dear All,

In infotype 581 for employee rent amount is given 12000 and date 01.04.2008 to 31.03.09 and HRA to tax exempt is ticked.

now today i have changed rent from 12000 to 15000 after that The calculation of HRA exemption for this employee is coming incorrect.

System is not calculating retro run for HRA exemption and COLA allowance.

it is calculating from current date instead of 01.04.08.

please suggest

Hi Ashwini,

Kindly check the record in IT0581, there should be 2 record.

one is from 01.04.2008

and another from the date you have changed the rent

the time constratint go to over view u shd have two records
