tracking number

hallo friends

where i create tracking no and where i assign this tracking no.to plant bcoz my client wants release strategy is on tracking number at the time of purchase requisition.

plz suggest me the setting for tracking no.

Hi,

If you include tracking number as a characteristic this is to be created in CT04.Here use the table CEBAN and the field BEDNR.

Than you need to assign the value range in the release strategy .

The tracking number can not be assigned to Plant since it is a free flowing entry and in character format.It can be used at the time of creation of PR at item level .

hi,

you can enter the tracking no in purchase requisition in ME51N Trx.in the tracking no field.

for release strategy you have to define the characteristics for tracking no in cto4 with table name as ceban and field name as bednr.

Dear,

At the time of purchase requisition you have to enter Tracking number in the field of Tracking number availabel at purchase requisition item detail level in Contact Person Tab.

Please check it.

when i create pr it automatically show all tracking no.
