Workflow set up for release startegy

Hi,

I have a requirement to trigger emails when a purchase document is waiting for an approval for eg.. if there are four approvals required for a particular PO document then when the PO document is created the mail should go to first approver and when he approves the mail should go to second approver and so on. The release startegy is already set up and workflow part needs to be done.

I would like to know the set up to be done for the workflow from MM side and also from the workflow side.

Points will be awarded for helpful answers.

Hi,

To combine release strategy with workflow you need to first make the Release Codes workflow relavant.ie, in the Release procedure for PO ,choose the tab Release code and against each release code put 1 (Workflow relavant) in the colomn "Workflow".Than save.After that you have to go to Workflow tab and enter each Release group ,release code and in the "ob" colomn "US" than put the user id of the releasing authorities and save.This is the basic things to be done before configuring the workflow.

Than take the help of the Workflow consultant and use the standard Workflow template WS2000075 .Than also activate the event linkage and make necesary configurations .
