We just finished installing Portal on NW7. We have noticed that none of the links (i.e., Help, Personalize, Logoff, etc) work within our Portal pages but work fine when we're in the User Management and NetWeaver Administrator pages off the main J2EE Engine start page. This all occurs on IE6. Additionally, none of the "Business Objects" nor "Portal Content" listings appear in the Browse pane when accessing Content or System Administration functions in our Portal. It just shows "Loading..." in that pane and never displays anything. However, all of this content shows and works fine with Mozilla Firefox (any version). Is there something we missed in the installation of our Portal that would cause these functions not to work in IE6 but work in Firefox? Our corporate standard is IE6 so moving to Firefox is not an option at this point. Appreciate any guidance.
Thanks,
Michael

Kiran and Sandeep. Your suggestion worked perfectly. Sorry I can only mark one of you as providing the correct answer - I gave it to Kiran since his response came in first.
I'm curious however, why does it make a difference to use fully qualified name instead of IP address?
Thanks,
Michael

Michael,
I guess, you might be accessing your portal with the ipaddress like...
http://ipaddress:50000/irj/portal
Instead access your portal like this..
http://fullyqualifieddomainname:50000/irj/portal
Let me know if you still have any issues and mention the NW sp level.
Have a great weekend
Cheers,
Sandeep Tudumu
