I want to learn Web Dynpro for Java. I have installed all the components (Developer Studio, MaxDB, AS Java) on my Windows workstation. Unfortunately, it is just too slow.
I have a NW2004S Testdrive (N4S) Preview version of SAP running on Linux. This allows me to log on to an SAP system via a regular windows GUI.
However, does the linux test drive contain the necessary AS Java and database such that I can offload some processes onto Linux to free up my windows workstation for just the Developer Studio? Or is there something that I can install on Linux?
Thanks for any help.
Jerry,
SAP NetWeaver 7.0 (2004s) - Trial Version on Linux contains both ABAP and JAVA stacks and can run Web Dynpro ABAP as well as Web Dynpro Java. For further information, take a look at [this link|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/nw-downloads].
Vishwas.
