I want to transfer the stock of one material into a new material,
Is it possible? if yes then how? and is there any financial effect.

Dear,
You can use 309 move. type for material to material stock transfer.
Foe use this move. type you can use MB1B, MB11 transaction.
Just enter MB11,
Then enter bellow detail,
Move. type, Plant, Storage location and press enter.
Then enter receiving material, plant and storage location,
Supplying material code, plant and quantity. also select batch.
Then click on save button.

Yes Ofcourse, It is Possible to Transfer the Material into a Material (the Same can also be known as Material to Material Transfer)
Use MB1B / MIGO with 309 Movement type to Transfer Material to Material
The quantity is posted from unrestricted-use stock of the issuing material into unrestricted-use stock in the receiving material.
Remember For Material to Material Transfer Both the Material Should have Same Unit of Measure

Transfer posting is done through MB1B T.Code which requires the necessary movement tyep
Transferring the material stock into another Material uses the mvt type 309
The quantity is posted from unrestricted-use stock of the issuing material into unrestricted-use stock in the receiving material
Prerequisite: both materials have the same stockkeeping unit.
Possible special stock indicators: E, O, Q, V, W
