Help - Navigation Panel

HI all,

Im facing with a big issue in WAD, the Navigation Panel does not admit 2 different Data Providers, and i really need it.

I was investigating about it, and it is a commun issue...so i find out a SAP PDF about "New enhacements" and it said if you update BI to "Stack 13" this bug will fix it.

The problem is that i have installed Stack 16 and the issue persist.

So, how can i solved this issue or use another similiar control in WAD in order to replace this one.

Are you getting any error or message?

We are also in the same version (BI 7.0 SP16). I'm able to create multiple data provider for the navigational panel.

Hi Chandran,thanks a lot.

Just to be sure, can you do this?

*Add 2 "Analysis Item" with differents Data Providers

*Add 1 "Navigation Panel" and in configure it to affect both Analysis Item, i mean with 1 navigation panel drilldown 2 analysis item.

When i try to do this, in the Navigation Panel, the properties only allow to put 1 DataProvider.

Hello Marcos,

Created 2 ANALYSIS ITEM and assigned 2 different data providers for them.

Created 1 Navigation Panel and assign the 2 data provider to it.

In the property window of the Navigation Panel choose -> Behaviour -> Check the Allow Navigation. Once you enable this check box you will be able to navigate.

Please try the same and let me know.

Since we are in Dev (Q and P is not upgraded), there is no data to test.

IN this step i cannot assign more than 1 data provider.

Sorry, Now I got it.

No its not allowing to use 2 data provider to the Navigation Panel. So I think we need to create 2 Navigation panel for each data providers or we need to get to some other controls like dropdown using javascript and choose the dataprovider at runtime.
