Hi Randy,
I also use crystal report for my design but I don't usually refer to database table unless it is very complicated .It sounds strange but SAp has better function which will help me to analyse the table structure .
Let me explain
For example you need Card code from Sales order
go to menubar - View system information
Put your mouse at the Cardcode You can see that it is coming from ORDR table at the bottom of status bar
Similarly you can use the same method to get the table tame
Then go to query generator .
Give the table name and SAP automatically give you connection between primary key to foreign key .
If you want to see what field is linked ,drag bold letter where you type order ,sap give you the link
This will help me to analyse the link between multiple table and I will write store procedure based on that
