Save Word file in Print Layout View

Using VS2005 CrystalDecisions.Shared methods from ASP.net.

When exporting to Word, I would like to have the file created with Print Layout View selected.

Looking at the PdfRtfWordFormatOptions class, I don't believe this choice is available.

Am I missing anything?

Would this option be available with CRXI DE R2?

Hi Levin,

This is a function of Word, not CR. I exported a report to WORD format and by default it opens up in Print Layout.

It may be the default view settings in Word. What version of Word are you using?

Hey Don,

I would say the view isn't a function of Word, and it's not a function of Crystal, it's an attribute that's in the Word file.

Re open that document in Word, change to a different view, save it, close it, reopen it, and you'll see what I mean: Word doesn't determine what the view is, the document does.

I don't know and can't control what the default view of our users' copies of Words is. I want Crystal to create a word file with a specific view type. But I don't think that's an option.
