Query Space Error

Hi friends,

When i execute the documents in webintelligence i am facing the error like this,Query rejected because it exceeds resource:Query temp space limit

Any idea!

Hi,

Is have you checked the same query (generated by BO) directly on the database?

You could also check you java heap-size on the server (in case your infoview is based on Java).

i will tell you the story of this error

temp table space

its a database related error

when you run some report it generates a sql to be send to your DBMS

your DBMS takes this SQL and runs it internally and get the date into a temp space, we call it in oracle Temp Table Space, this temp space has a fixed size, if your SQL generated data more than this size it refelects an error, so your DBMS takes this error back to your BO system and appear in the report as you seen.

the solution:-

talk to your database administrator to increase the size of the temp table space

or check your query in the report and how much data it returns it may beeds some enhancement.

Hi Amr,

In the database as on now i am containining seven million records. i am expecting to increase up to 40 millions records. So wat i need to do is i need to increase the my table space in database rite. Ok let me talk to my DBA and update you.
