Hi all,
I intend to create a new company and database separately old company, e.g I have company A and will create company B. In company A, there is some settings chart of account, database, etc. I want to create company B that is the same as company A setting. How can I do that in SBO 2005 A SP 01?
What must I backup setting everyday in SBO Common? What is SBO Common?
Please anybody can help me...?

Hi Agung,
you may use Copy Express to create a new database with master data & other settings including templates from an already populated db.
Please check out the OLH for the add on in the documentation resource centre,
All the best,
Kerstin

Dear Agung,
The SBO-COMMON database holds system wide information (ie data that is not company specific) such as system version and help file information. As the name suggest it holds information that is 'common' for the company databases.
After you create a new company, you may copy the settings using tool Copy Express for example. Refer to Copy Express documentation on the concrete copying options.
Rgds,
Julius
