crystal reports 2008 database expert - sql 2005 db viewing problem

i have added a sql 2005 database to the database expert, the only thing i can see is the master database, but if i open an existing report which is looking at views from a database that resides within the registration within the database expert the report runs and retrieves the data as expected. so does anybody have any ideas as to whay i cannot see any other database in the database expert..........

Hi Craig,

Open Database Expert.

In Available Data Sources pane right click on any database connectivity type and from the contextual menu click on Options.

In the Data Explorer check all check boxes i.e. for tables, views, System tables, Synonyms, & Stored Procedures.

Click OK and check weather you can see all the tables and views.
