Hi experts,
we want to use our portal from internet zone, but we don`t want admin users or service users to be allowed to log on the portal from the internet zone.
Only "normal" users should be able to connect from the internet zone.
Does anyone know how to configure this in 7.0 NW portal scenario?
thanx in advance
kind regards
Tom
Not sure if this functionality is out of the box: however with some modifications to the logon page I think you can achieve this though custom coding.
Add a check for the users who belong to the admin group and the url from where they are accessing the page.
Thanks,

I think it is possible to set the condition.
You can write client side script to validate the user role (It can be done.... but I don't know) and restrict the user in the user browser level.
The following document is very nice document by Nicholas Holshouser for securing Internet Facing Portal.
