Hi Everybody

My client want GR to be posted from April 2008 but we have closed the period till sept 2008.When i tried to post on april 2008 im getting an error as follows,

Posting only possible in periods 2008/06 and 2008/05 in company code BP01

Message no. M7053.

can anyone put me on the above

yes, this problem exits bcoz you have closed your previous periods and nw you want to post for APRIL...

as pervious posting is nt allowed...

Normally its not suggested...

So run if req. run program RMMMINIT...this may help you...or may use sandox technique for the same...

Or work with SandBox u can follow the these steps but not in Production:

1. use t.code OX18, and delete the plants assigned to your CO.Cd and save.

2. use t.code OMSY and change the posting period to the one u want and save.

3.use t.code OX18 and assign the plants you have deleted in step 1.and save.

But after doing all steps, u can see all G/L assign in OBYC, will be deleted, you have assign again in OBYC.
