Diagnosis

Account 45678 is a profit and loss account. You assigned it to an object in cost accounting (for example, a cost center, order, or project).

System Response

Account 45678 in the determined controlling area GVSK must exist as a cost element on the posting date 19.09.2008.

Procedure

Create account 45678 as a cost element and then repeat your posting.

Or, delete auxiliary account assignment to objects in cost accounting.

use t.code: KA01 and create Cost element 45678

T.Code: KA01

Enter u r controlling area GVSK

Then

account 45678

Valid from 19.09.2008 Valid to 31.12.9999

press enter

& Other details............

Save.

Hi,

Goto FS00, give G/L account and company code and enter.

Then click on Edit cost element,maintain mandatory data and take care of the date.

Please Create a Cost Element in KA01 Trxn code. Go to KA01 and Give Cost Element 45678 and Give Valid From field & Valid to Fields and Save.
