dear pp gurus,

i am not able to post migo (goods issue) document.

Following error is coming. please help.

Balancing field "Segment" in line item 002 not filled

Message no. GLT2201

Diagnosis

The field Segment marked as balancing is not filled with any value in line item 002, even after document splitting.

System Response

The document cannot be posted.

Procedure

First check your entries.

Additional causes could be:

No value can be derived for this field from the current document data.

You have entered a document type that is not designed for this business purpose.

Hi,

IMG path -- Financial Accounting (New) --> Business Transactions --> Documents Splitting --> Define Document Splitting Characteristics for General Ledger Accounting.

Here for your Profit Center, Please check if any of the checkboxes are checked for Profit Center field

If the G/L accounts falls within the range in

-->Classify G/L Accounts for Document Splitting

and Document Type is defined in

-->Classify Document Types for Document Splitting
