Hi,
How To Do Configuration For Credit Management
Credit and risk management takes place in the credit control area. According to your corporate requirements, you can implement credit management that is centralized, decentralized, or somewhere in between.
An organizational unit that represents the area where customer credit is awarded and monitored. This organizational unit can either be a single or several company codes, if credit control is performed across several company codes. One credit control area contains credit control information for each customer.
For example, if your credit management is centralized, you can define one credit control area for all of your company codes.
If, on the other hand, your credit policy requires decentralized credit management, you can define credit control areas for each company code or each group of company codes.
Credit limits and credit exposure are managed at both credit control area and customer level. You set up credit control areas and other data related to credit management in Customizing for Financial Accounting. The implementation guide is under Enterprise Structure -> Definition or Assignment -> Financial Accounting and then Maintain credit control area. You assign customers to specific credit control areas and specify the appropriate credit limits in the customer master record.

Credit Management
With an increased number of companies running into financial difficulties, credit management within a sales organization is an important tool to manage the risk of loss of receivables. Additionally offering unique credit terms may be the only way to win a buyer from the competition. Therefore a company should not eliminate the credit risk, but rather manage the risk. To make fast and efficient credit decisions, a credit manager needs internal and external credit information, coming from different systems throughout the whole company.
SAP Credit Management checks a incoming sales order against a customer's credit limit. Due to an insufficient credit limit the order will be blocked and the credit manager can reevaluate the customers credit worthiness. The credit manager updates the credit scoring of the customer by requesting online information from an external credit information provider. The update of the scoring reveals that the creditworthiness of the customer has improved, so the credit manager can set up a higher credit limit and releases the blocked sales order.
SAP Credit Management supports the credit manager to streamline the whole process of credit check. The credit information which he needs to make the right credit decision is delivered by the credit management system and it is fully integrated into the application and the credit manager workplace. The direct integration with external credit information providers reduces the response time for online request and helps to make the decision process faster.
Credit decisions can be automated based on credit rules, so the credit manager can concentrate on the processing of exceptions. This streamlines the processing of credit checks and therefore reduces transaction costs. Due to the tight integration to other applications (e.g. CRM) the credit limit check can be processed much quicker, since all necessary information is transferred to the credit management system. Once the credit exposure information is stored in the credit management you can easily identify the overall credit risk for your company. Additionally you can classify your customers into risk classes and so concentrate your sales and marketing-activities on reliable and profitable customers.

Difference Between Static and Dynamic Credit Check
Tell me the difference between Static and Dynamic Credit Checks.
What is the difference between the Open Order Value used in Static check and the one used in Dynamic Check?
Simple Credit Check : Tr.Code - FD32
It Considers the Doc.Value + Open Items.
Doc.Value : Sales Order Has been saved but not delivered
Open Item : Sales Order has been saved , Delivered, Billed & Transfered to FI, but not received the payment from the customer.
Static Credit Check it checks all these doc value & check with the credit limit
1) Open Doc.Value / Sales Order Value : Which is save but not delievered
2) Open Delivery Doc.Value : Which is delivered but not billed
3) Open Billing Doc.Value : Which is billed but not posted to FI
4) Open Item : Which is transfered to FI but not received from the customer.
Dynamic Credit Check 1) Open Doc
2) Open Delivery
3) Open Billing
4) Open Items
5) Horizon Period = Eg.3Months
