Hi All,
Although i hv some idea but please explain what is the purpose of base line date in MIRO screen. How this is important?, give some examples.
Thanks & Regards,
Rajeev
hi,
Due dates for invoices are calculated using the baseline date for payment. The baseline date for payment is determined according to the following priorities:
1. from the settlement profile on the basis of the posting date or delivery note date in the material document
2. from the terms of payment
3. from the posting date in the settlement document
These also helps in ERS settlement
Example:
If your Baseline date is 10 th day from today....And if you pay within these 10 days(based on payment terms) then the discounts etc are provided to you for early or on time payments to vendor...
Hope it helps..

Baseline date for due date calculation
Date to which the periods for the cash discount deadline and the due date for net payment refer. This is the case for line items in open item accounts.
For line items in G/L accounts, the item is due immediately on this date because there are no cash discount specifications.
so the baseline date is the date from which the payment terms will be active

hi
Base line date is a date from which payment term are calculated.
Suppose cash discount will be given if you pay within 5 days then these 5 days will be calculated from baseline date.

Vijay
