how can i maintain item category-L as default in item overview of bom

Hi,

You can make it default as user level T.code OS29 - USer Profile for BOMs.

This setting is works only for specified user.

USE t-code OS29,

Production>Basic Data>Bill of Material-->Define User-Specific Settings

actually this is user spesific,

you need to give all user ids, if required for every one, or

if you want fro some user only then give these defoults for them

I think you can make using IMG settings under bill of material ,or use T code OICA or OS29 and maintain Make User-Specific Settings

In OS13 you to maintain item category.

You can specify the following default values.
