value contract WK1

i have created value contract with ass. module & value 1000.now when i created released order w.r.t contrct it enable me to create the order beyond that 1000 value.

So, what is the purpose of using wk1 instead of wk2 ?

Hi All

When I enter the Assortment in the Value Contract WK1 it gives me error - Enter Material.

Any Idea why its asking for Material ?

There is a control in Item category level.

GOTO VoV7

Item category WKN Value Contract Item

Contract Release Ctrl

No response if target value is exceeded

A Warning if target value is exceeded

B Error message if target value is exceeded

C First time target value is exceeded, permitted with warning

D As for 'A' but value contract is not blocked

WK1--VALUE CONTRACT WITH ASSORTMENT MODULE

In this we have to create assortment module--WSV2(T-code)

Assortment Module is one which contains materials and validity dates

after creating assortment module u have insert this assorment module number in WK1 contract.

here u have give value for all the materials.

so, in wk1 we will use no materials and value based on that value u can create order with ref to contract.

WK2--Value Contract for single material

In this we will create for single material for some value..

then u have create sales order with ref to wk2 contract.

i know that in WK1 we enter the assor module but we can't restrict usesr wither by qty or by value specified in contrct.

then why don't i choose quantity contract instead of this?

In Quantity Contract there will be limit to Certain Quantity.. When u created a quantity contract with 100 quantities then the order will be irrespective of amount the quantity will be respective.i.e. the order will be for 100 quantity only not more than that

But in Value Contract with irrespective of quantity the value is respective.. that means u will raise an order with specified value of material. If u raise more than amount specified in Value Contract then it will give warning message.
