Registering fixed assets with zero value

Hi experts,

I have some fixed assets which have been expensed off previously, but need to be classified as fixed assets now. Therefore, the fixed assets do not carry any value, but will be monitored as fixed assets of the company.

I tried to register the fixed assets in Asset master and enter a capitalization date, but it does not show up in any of the fixed asset report. Without showing up in fixed asset report, it can't be monitored and reported.

I'm not sure how to do it. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Hi

Goto AS02 Asset master

Select check box of include asset in invenotry list

and then go to reports

S_ALR_87011979 - ... by Cost Center

S_ALR_87011980 - ... by Location

S_ALR_87011981 - ... by Asset Class

S_ALR_87011982 - ... by Plant

Thanks !

I tried to create an asset with "include asset in inventory list" checkbox ticked. However, when i execute the reports, the asset still do not show up.

Is there something i miss out?

Hi Srinivas,

Create an asset with as01 and tick on in the first screen post capitalization. On the second screen you have to fill Capaitalized on
