Problem in Purchase Requisition Release Strategy

Hi sapgurus,

i am defining a release strategy for Purchase Requisition. but whenver in a strategy two release codes are incorporated suppose

Release group :MM

Release Codes: M1 and M2.

but in relese simulation tab showing

"M2 Release prerequisite missing"

and M2 code is not working in releasing pr.only M1 is worked.

Then Its better delete these strtegies. Create 2 New strategies. 1 with value < (value of ur reqt) and relese code M1. 2 strategy with value > and release code M1and M2.

Yes Ravi I have done the strategy that u mentioned in 2 strategy but in ME54N, M2 and M1 should be shown .But only M2 is shown.

I took Field GSWRT for value determination. The field is right or not.

Hi,

It is only simulation. you wont get save button here.Once you double click on M1,if for M2 you get the message Release possible, then its working fine.

Now u go to ME51N create PR, check whether release strtegy is getting triggered. If yes Go to ME54N and release the requisition.

If yes, double click on M1

then you get Release possible for M2.

Actually I want to create two release strategy

1. when total value in PR will be 1000.00 then one person can release PR.

2. when value is greater than 1000.00 then two persons will release.

For this i created a release group K1 with checkbox against 'OvRelPReq' is ticked.Then i have created M1 and M2 release codes are created.

Then I have given release indicator one for realesed and another for not released.

After that , create a relase strategy

where after M1 ,M2 can able to release the PR.in prerequisite button i ticked the checkbox near M2.

It will not work.

Plz give me a suggestion.

u create 2 different release strategies with values > and < 1000 with release codes M1 and M1,M2 resepectively

Hi,

Have you done done release prerequistis settings.

I think you have configured in such a way that after M1 releases then only M2 should release.

Check the release statuses defined with the release indicators for these two release codes

Hi,

Check the Release prerequisities in Release Strategy configuration.

Whether you have selected the checkbox both M1 & M2 release codes.

If both left side is selected then system will release first M1 then M2.

If you left any one this problem will rise.

if you set prerequisite,

M1 have to release it first and then M2 can release that.

Yes i have done prerquisites .But Value of REL.OBJ is 1.

but still it can not be done.

Hi,

Just delete that release Strategy which you have created and then go back and create new release strategy for the same again.

with Release prerequisties to be selected for both M1 & M2 and process check

the Release statuses, then simulate the releases.
