how to set alert

Dear Members,

I want to set an alert when ever i get the new invoice. any one can help me in this regard.. what is the query i have to use for that.. when ever i open the business one i have to get the alert.

I would like to suggest something on framing your question. This may perhaps sound un wanted but this can help the question be understood correctly and answered quickly.

Taking the example of this question. When you say Invoice which one are you talking about

A/R Invoice OR A/P Invoice

This sentence "when ever i get the new invoice" - get your invoice from WHERE?

Please post your question completely and clearly...
