How to contraol the Massage 8i001

Hi SD Experts,

How I can Change the Following Massage into the ERROR massage ( from Green massage to the Red Massage)

Maintain the chapter ID for material HD00001 J_1IMTCHID

Message no. 8I001

This massage i am getting in VA01 and this is because of Chapter ID is maintained in the J1ID

Pls help Me

My requirement is converting Success Massage (Green Massage ) in to the Error Massage (Red Massage ) so that with out the chapter Id he not process the Sales order any process

Further Information :-

1. I have tried in IMG>Tax on goods Move->tools-->Massage Control

2. T.Code SE91 it is only display and additional Creation Massage

3. T.code OVML here we can control only shipping related Massages

4. T.Code OVAH here we can control application V4 Massages

5. This massage is related to CIN and Application Area or Massage class is 8I

Dear Jeevan

You cant change the given standard message to error. However, you can try with User Exit : RV60AFZZ wherein you can write a code that if excise duty is zero, the document should not be saved.

Dear Jeevan

If you maintained the material code and its respective chapter id in J1ID, I am sure, you will not get that information.

Only if you have not maintained, at the time of creating sale order, system will give you a warning message with green colour which means, the duty amount will be zero in that order for that material.

In J1ID Maintain Chapter Id for material.

Also maintain excise indicators for plant,customer & assign the same to customer master & material master.
