Hi there,
Consider you have K004, K005 & K007 discounts. If you apply all the 3 discounts in the pricing, the customer may end up getting more discount than he deserves. to avoid that, you define condition exclusion.
Here you put all the 3 discounts in the condition exclusion group. You will define a rule to choose the best discount or the least value amoung the condition types in the grp. Then you assign the exclusion grp to the pricing procedure.
So if you have K004 5%, K005 15%, K007 10%, in the pricing procedure only K005 will be applied if you choose a rule that to select best discount in the group.
Condition supplement: Consider you have a tax condtion type ZTX00. You also wish to give a tax discount of 5% under condition type ZTXD0. Every time your ZTX00 is applied, ZTXD0 should also apply.
In that case you define ZTXD0 as a condition supplement to ZTX00. So wheever ZTX00 is applied, ZTXD0 will also apply.
Hope this clarifies.

Sivanand

Hi
CONDITION EXCLUSION
In pricing for sales and docuents more than one condition record may apply to a particular line item . You can use the condition exclusion process to compare possible conditions inorder to determine best price for a customer.
CONDITION SUPPLEMENT
A condition supplement is a supplement for a condition type. it is simply a group of conditions which should applied every time a certan condition is found.

Hi,
u2022Condition supplements: -Condition supplements are group of conditions, which are accessed together during pricing.
u2022Condition exclusion
Condition exclusion indicator can be set in either the condition type or the condition records.
Condition types to be compared are first placed in an exclusion group. During pricing, the conditions which result in the best price (lowest charge or highest discount) are selected from this group. All others are deactivated.
Thanks
Bhushan
