Input in 581 Infotype

Hi ,

I need an help from you all....

At my client place, when updating IT 581, system is showing as

Eligibility amount for HRA/CLA/COA is zero for employee

As the HRA is not calculated on valuation base (given as INVAL A), the eligibility amount is not getting picked from IT 0008.

I want the system to pick amount from HRA Wage type in IT0008 and store it in IT 581 as eligible amount.

Do any one guide me, the ways for doing the same. Is there any user exit available for this, or need to write an dynamic action.

u better write one user exit by checking wagetype for HRA.

then us HR_Infotype_operation to update itype 581.

but by maintaining that wagetype 2 times in payroll it will get calculated 2 times i think so.

In IT0581 you have to maintain manually. here you have to give the amount which the employee is paying to rent to his/her home. the rent will be differe for metro and nonmetro, you have makeactive which that employee is belongs to.

Based on this the HRA will get exempted.
