Hi,
We have some materials showing in SAP system. But physically we dont have that materials in plant. The only thing is in System it was showing with some quantity. This quantity is reserved for some open sales orders in 2005. Now we need to delete these from system also. when the inventory report is creating these also coming and we are facing some duplicaton problems.
Hi,
If the stock is showing in MMBE as" open sale order stock ", double click that u will get sles order, then go to MBVR check the reservations against the sale order and close it.

Raviraj

Hi,
Why dont you run a Physical inventory process and eliminate this stock.
If you are in production run the above said process for the books to tally.
If you are using sandbox then just issue this material to some cost center and get rid of the material in the stores.
Then go for deleting the material through MM06.
Thanks & regards,
Kiran
If Material is no Longer Used in your Company Then you Can Delete all the Relevant Transactions Such as PR/PO/SO/Res etc and If you dont Have Manual Stock (Except Book Stocks) Make the Stock Zero and Put Deletion Mark against Material in MM06.
Further it Can be Archived thru archiving Process SARA with Archiving Object MM_MATNR.

hi,
You can remove the material from MM06 or could also archive the material from Logistics --> Materials management -->Material master -> Other -> Archiving --> Material.
But for this there are few conditions:
1. No open stock shd exit..
2. No Po or any external doc shd be pending...
