E-Recruiting Status text change

Hi,

My client is inquiring about the level of effort involved in changing the status titles (ex. Rejected to Not Hired), table T77RCF_RCD2STAT is used to assign status reasons to statuses. Can you please assist me at where the change would need to be made and what the level of effort and impact of this change would be?

Hi Naddy,

the status texts are domain values. So to change the texts you would have to do a modification on the domain.

The dpomain names are like the names of the data elements: rcf_<object>_status while object is requisition, application, candidacy, ... .

As long as you only change the texts and not change the allowed values i don't see a lot of impact. Off course with each support package / upgrade you would have to check the change as you do for each modification.

Another effort which might be necessary is to check OTR text and messages if anywhere SAP put the status description in. This would have be to be checked and if found would have to be adapted.

Hi Naddy,

yes for changing a domain you will have to get a modification key.
