Report Creation API license for CR XI

Hi guys:

Back with another CR XI question...

As er were trying to run the reports on production system using CR XI, we received the following pop up message.

u201C-2147189571 You are attempting to use functionality that falls under the Business Objects Report Creation API license. This system does not have a valid license, or the evaluation copy of the license has expired. Please contact Business Objects to obtain a Report Creation API license.u201D

It seems like the API license is required to run the runtime report at client side. However, I am not sure if API license is different than the product license. If it is, how can we obtain an API license?

Any suggestions?

Hello Prakash,

the RC API licence model is part of the CR developer edition.

There are several licence models based on how many users the software will use and/or hardware usage.

Please contact your software distributor to obtain RC API licenses for your specific need.
