Reversal for ASKB transaction -

Hi,

We have posted document using ASKB and we would like to reverse the documents posted, but if I try tio use transaction FB08, the system show a error message:

Not possible to reverse the document in financial accounting

Message no. F5673

Diagnosis

Document '400000006' in company code '1000' should be reversed. However, this document was not posted in the Financial Accounting module, AMBU is, rather, of type ''.

Could you please let me know which is the transaction I can use to reverse the documents?

Hi,

another option is to simply post a manual journal entry in G/L to get the result wanted. That´s much easier then to reverse a document, then repost it and have the need to run ASKB(N) again. If your asset side is fine, I would say use the manual G/L entry.

Hi,

Transactions posted in Asset accounting which hit FI cannot be reversed in FI module. You need to reverse the original transaction itself.

For reversing Asset accounting documents use transaction code AB08.
