Population of the /SAPAPO/MATKEY table

Hello - can someone tell me if there a connection between th CVCs you have created using transaction /SAPAPO/MC62 and the /SAPAPO/MATKEY table? Should they be in sync?

/SAPAPO/MATKEY is purely based on the contents maintaiined in APO Product master(masterdata for SNP) whereas /SAPAPO/MC62 is used to generate CVCs(Masterdata of Demand PLanning) in Demand Planning. Both are completely different and need not be in sync

In /SAPAPO/MC62 you have option to chech weather material/masterdata is already exist in APO or not (masterdata table /SAPAPO/MATKEY)and create CVC only if you have material defined in APO.

Check SCM master data check box in MC62 connects MATKEY table if you check it.
