Hi Stephanie,

To continue to update the decimal places, please try the following:

1. Restart the SQL Server as there may be some connections that are

not cleared in the server.

2. Stop any add-on running in the system.

Note that in 2007A version, the decimal places can only be increased.

Once set, they cannot be decreased anymore. So work with decimal in a consistent way.

If the issue remains unresolved after trying the 2 solutions, Please

log a message for SAP Support

Regards

Vikas

Hi Stephanie,

You need to go into the SQL server management studio to find if there is only you connected to the database.

You don't need to restart the server since that will be not help if there are other connections.

Thanks,

Is there some place in the SAP tables to determine where this 'phantom' user is? I'm having the same problem and restarting both sql and the whole box didn't solve it.

Thanks.

Please post a new thread. It is neither polite nor following forum rule to ask questions if you are not thread owner.

It's not a new question. Its a followup to this question. The question was never answered as one user said to look for the problem in SQL Enterprise Manager but never said where to look.

Anyway, a closed thread is a closed thread. You need to post a new thread.

Hi

Some session might have been remained in Sql server.

Restart your server and try to do that .You should be able to do that .

Note : You can increase the from 3 to 6 ,but once you increased you cannot go back from 6 to 3

Thank you
