uploading history sales data

hi friends,

I want to upload history values (data ) of sales for forcasting production schedule, so i want to know how to do that ? and where it uploades and how?

Where is the history data..Is it in SAP or other legacy system?

We can do it in two ways.

One for if you want to plan as forecast planning using consumption based planning

One more way is through Sales forecast using SOP...pl come back which one you are looking for?

Data is on legacy and from sales forcast.

Dear,

In that case, you need to update the data into a info structure and call this info structure in SOP When you create a SOP in MC88.

Follow the path Edit >Create sales plan>foracst and give the infostructure name and other details for forcast the data...it will copy the data to SOP after takning the consumption data and forecast as per the parameteres you have enetered.
