Context element use in ESR and ID.

Hi,

1. We are running SAP PI 7.10. I have created a context element and allowcated it to a xml element in an interface in the ESR. The I have created a rule in the ID under Receiver Determination. Now in the receiver determination I see a Local Rule by default. If a navigate into the Condition on the Local Rule I do not find my created Context element in the list displayed.

2. If under Configured Receivers I enter the Insert Receiver Rule as was created, then I am not able to save the receiver determination successfully with the system that return the following message.

Checking rule PartnerId used and its context objects

Cannot read context objects because software component

Please can you assist with the resolution of the above error.

Any help in this regard will be much appriciated.

Hi,

Solution found. One has to change you Service Interface, where the Context Object is spesified, in the ESR to

"Interface Pattern" = "Stateless (XI30-Compatible)". Then the above is posible in the ID.

Check if the business system and the associated technical system that you are using here is associated with the software product that you are using in the SLD..
