F-01 : What is the use of the sample document ?

We create with Tcode : F-01 a sample document, please what is the use of this sample document ? and how to reverse it (Tcode) ?

Hi

Sample document is an reference document which can be used by the user whenever the similar situation comes in the real business world

For example - iam doing transaction

Debit - 1000000(GL Account) for a sum of Rs.5000

Credit - 2000000(GL Account) for a sum of Rs.5000

If this will done for ever week, then i can use the sample document as a reference document and post entries

Which will save time and the possiblities of doing mistakes will get reduced

Why do you want to reverse a sample document

First it will not create a accounting impact in your books. A document can be reversed only if you have a accounting impact.

Henceforth to my knowledge you cannot reverse the sample document

Thanks, of course sample document don't create an accounting impact in our books, but i look for any possibility to cancel it.

If you want to cancel the sample document - instead of reversing the same you can delete the sample document using F.57
