Shipping instructions

Hello Guru's,

I have to create shipping instructions. Will anyone guide me in which transaction and under which tab should i create it pl.

Hi,

You can use header level text fields in the delivery document to create the shipping instructions. If the text are pertaining to item, then you can check if any text field can be used at the item level.

If at both level there is no text field, then in text determination procedure you can create new text fields.

Make sure your output print program pulls the text data from these fields.

You can always use TEXT at item or header leverl, to document any process.

Those Text can be printed by Output Control, in any Shipping Document: See under IMG: Logistics Execution - Shipping - basic Shipping Functions - Output Control - mantain output Control por Outbound Deliveries.(http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp60_sp/helpdata/en/93/745127546011d1a7020000e829fd11/content.htm)

1) To enter shipping instructions, choose Item --> Details from the document item overview.

2) Enter the relevant key in the Shipping instr. field.

3) To enter further shipping instructions, choose Header --> Texts --> Text overview. Enter your instructions under the text type Shipping instructions.
