statement is not accessible

i am beginner in BDC, i am writing coding which is given there

REPORT ZTOTAL_BDC.

INCLUDE bdcrecx1.

data: it_upload type table of ty_upload,

wa_upload like line of it_upload,

  • bdcdata type bdcdata occurs 0 with header line ,

program type bdcdata-program,

dynpro type bdcdata-dynpro,

dynbegin type bdcdata-dynbegin,

fnam type FNAM_____4,

fval type BDC_FVAL.

*break-point.

perform upload_data.

its throwing an error that statement "perform upload_data" is not accesible.
