In BO XI and XI R2 I was able to name my Webi servers via the command line options and the name I selected would appear in the Windows Task Manager's process list. This was VERY helpful to me in using monitoring tools to track which of them started to spike out of control (i.e. cpu usage or memory usage) and restart specific ones on certain schedules, etc.
I don't see the same ability in BO XI 3.0. When I create a new Webi server or clone an existing one, what displays in the Windows Task Manager is always the just the executable name and a unique PID.
Is there no way to override this or control this behavior so that I could still use automated tools to manage Webi (and other servers) when it goes out of control?
Also is there somewhere a document that talks about the command line options?
try CMC/servers
The command line options have been moved to there. I'm not sure what option you used or if it will still work in XI 3.0. If you have any issues you will likely need to open a message with support to verify with our product group if it's by design or regression.

Tim
