WAD export to Excel - how to change settings?

Hello guys,

I am confronted with some issues in WAD when it comes to do an export to Excel. In a WAD query I have embedded several BEX queries (Grid Item). The display on the screen is fine when I am running the WAD query. But when I choose to export it, the data (Grid elements) gets scrambled and the Excel report is not readable.

1/ How can I choose in which Excel cells the data in the WAD Grid Items will go to? For example, to force the WAD display on the screen to be respected in Excel.

2/ How can the solution for 1/ can be implemented in the global template, to all queries?

HI,

In WAD, while desiging use the standard Web items, Export to Excel (other one Export to CSV).

or copy the code from Standard template and follow same steps to achive this.
