Hierarchy Transfer from R/3 to APO

Hello -

We are working on transferring hierarchies (Product, Location and Resource hierarchies) that are maintained in R/3 to APO. As per my knowledge we cannot transfer hierarchy into APO, you have to create them manually in there (correct me if i am wrong). For transferring hierarchy we need to do customization (correct me if i am wrong).

Can you please give your views on the same and what is the best case scenario as well as worst case scenario available?

Hi Suresh,

1) You cannot transfer hierarchy from R/3 to APO

2) The details of BAPI that you are looking for is as follows:-

a) LOCATION PRODUCT HIERARCHY

Object name: LocPrdHierarchyAPS

Object type:- BUS10015

Componentn:- SCM-BAS-INT-EXT

b) PRODUCT HIERARCHY

Object name: PrdHierarchyAPS

Object type:- BUS10017

Componentn:- SCM-BAS-INT-EXT

Hi Suresh,

You canu2019t transfer hierarchy, you need to create in all the environments manually.
