Standard Costing

Dear SAP guru

I have run standard cost for XYZ material for 01/09/2008 - 30/09/2008 period with Altenate BOM - 1 on 01/09/2008

Today I have created Alternate BOM -2 and want to do costing

again for 18/09/2008 - 30/009/2008 period

But system not allow, error "Cost has released for the period"

Please suggest

once the costing is run for the period at header material, then its not possible to run for other alternate boms

Dear Dharmesh Soni,

For a material standard cost estimate can be carried out only once.

If you want to carryout costing for the same period means then using T code CKR1 you have to reorganize

the existing standard cost estimate for that material and then carryout the costing using CK11N & CK24 or

else directly using CK40N.

Since already for the current period a released standard cost estimate exists for the material ,so you can't

do costing again.

check & revert back.
