Variable Problem.........

Former Member

Hi...

I have added four variables in the query.

But when I execute the query , I dont see one variable out of 4. Only 3 variables I get in the selection screen

And for the fourth variable it takes some default value while executing the query.

I see all 4 variables in the query properties.

Any suggestions why the fourth one is not displaying in the selection screen.

Thanks.

Again I am facing the same problem.

Any idea what could be the reason?

Thanks.

Hi,

This can be due to personilization of variables. Check the entries for that variable in ODS 0PERS_VAR. Check the value exists for the variable/user entry in DSO if yes then in the query delete the personalization value

Hope this helps

I was executing the query from the History , so it didnt take the correct definition , when executing it from the Info area is fine.

Hi,

Edit the 4th variable and check for Variable is ready for output option , if it is unchecked then check the checkbox and try.

Also delete the default value given to it.
