How to restrict users from using past dates in the sales documents

Dear All,

We have a requirement where the users are to be restricted from using the past dates in the sales documents.

please guide me how this can be done.

Dear Mohammed

Instead of controlling predating / postdating the sale order, what I would suggest is that if you can control the schedule line date in such a way that it should only be created on or after the system date, there will be some meaning in doing so.

As you would be aware, you can predate the schedule line as per your wish and if you are interested to control this, you can try with User Exits in program MV45AFZB - USEREXIT_CHECK_VBEP

We have already use system date but, the users are able to change the date now. Is there any way to make the document date field as output only to restrict users.

hi

if user is using past date in open period then you can not control it.

and if date lies in closed period then system itself will not allow it
