DI Installation

Hi,

Am created one DI Application using VB.net. normally i ll use B1DE or AddonRegDataGen to create ARD For my Add-ons(UI/UIDI). but am not having any clear idea how to create setup for my DI Application.how to create MSI package for my DI Application.please

provide any links..am using SAP B1 2005.

Hi,

If u are talking abt an application which has only the DI and no UI interaction then u dont need the ARD(because its an external application) , U can just create the installer as u do for a normal .NET windows application.

For more information on Installer creation see the MSDN or VS help file.

Hi Vasu Natari,

I understood no need of ARD. i created window based application to create UDT,UDF,UDO(Meta data operations) as per my client requirement. i thought i have to use some tool like B1DE. anyway i will try in normal .net installtion method.

Hi Ganesh,

As part of B1DE (Business One Development Environment) Tools, there are two tools/wizards to help you with creation of installers. "B1 Simple Installer Wizard" and "B1 Professional Installer Wizard".
